- Take these actions: Select "Start" from the menu.
- The "Run" box will appear once you type "Run" into the search bar.
- In the Run box, type "cmd" and press the "Enter" key. The command window will start.
- In it, carry out the following command:
- Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press Enter.
- Type "ipconfig /registerdns" and press Enter.
- Type "ipconfig /release" and press Enter.
- Type "ipconfig /renew" and press Enter.
- Type "netsh winsock reset" and press Enter.
Restart the computer.
- In Windows 8 and 10, the DNS cache can be cleared in this manner.
