Any file or directory can be backed up by the Admin user. A WHM user has the option to restore a backup for a specific file or directory.
The steps to restore the backup are as follows:
- Connect to WHM.
- Click on the "File and Directory Restoration" sub-option after selecting the "Backup" option.
- Decide which account's backup you want to view.
- The "View Backup" link is located at the bottom of the page.
- The "Enter the path" or "Browse the files and directories" options are required when selecting the "Show backups" option.
- The following set of files will appear if you choose the "Browse files and directories" option. Select "Show backup" from the menu.
- Finally, by simply selecting the "Restore" option, you can restore the backup.
